So, the body sends the estrogen to where it needs to go, and then they talk. The second type of estrogen is called xenoestrogens. This is a foreign estrogen from either synthetic or chemicals that would come in contact with our natural estrogens as well.
These xenoestrogens get into the receptor sites so our natural estrogen cannot get into the sites. Our hormones regulate every function in our body. When the xenoestrogens get into our receptor sites first, the sites get clogged. This in turn makes you estrogen dominant as our natural estrogen builds up in our system and can't do its job. The xenoestrogens send out the wrong signals, or no signals to the rest of our body systems, which can't now do their jobs because of the wrong signals.
Xenoestrogens are found in things like fragrance. It's in pesticides. That is why choosing organically grown foods is so important. The more they build up in our body, the more our body cannot do its jobs.
Doing a quick switch to stainless steel and glass as much as possible is helpful. Household cleaners and beauty products are also factors. Xenoestrogens contribute in an extreme way after lots of exposures to them to cancers, endometriosis and infertility. Your body cannot get proper signals when the xenoestrogens are clogging up all the cell receptor sites. So limiting your exposure to xenoestrogens as much as possible is important to overall health, especially or hormone balance and fertility.
